Boy’s High School lacrosse in Missouri is not a school-sponsored sport. Therefore, the Vianney Lacrosse Club must generate funds internally to cover field rental, practice facilities, coach and referee salaries, uniforms, tournament fees, and more. The Club’s operating budget exceeds $45,000 annually, excluding a significant equipment expense borne by each player’s family.
After registration fees, this event is the primary source of the club’s funding. Your participation helps keep the sport affordable for our players. Lacrosse can represent a significant opportunity for the dedicated player – over 50% of the seniors on Vianney’s last two Varsity squads received some level of college lacrosse scholarship. Nationally, lacrosse players enjoy the highest percentage of scholarships awarded for any high school sport, as well as the highest graduation rate of all collegiate sports. Even if you cannot attend this event, your financial support of the Vianney Lacrosse Club would be greatly appreciated.
